Hi, my name is Lindsey and I am a freelance photographer.

Born and raised in Surrey, I feel incredibly lucky to have grown up in such a beautiful part of the world. I will also be forever grateful to have spent my life surrounded by dogs and horses — two of my greatest loves.

In my earlier years, after college, I went to work in a “proper” job: sitting behind a desk in a large office, under artificial lighting, drinking cheap coffee from plastic cups out of a vending machine.
I very quickly realised that this career — and lifestyle — definitely wasn’t for me.

Around that time, at the yard where I kept my horse, a full-time groom position became available. I decided to take a big chance, leave the “proper” job and begin a new career working with animals. I never looked back. Over the years, I’ve worked at various yards, including eight wonderful years as head girl at a large yard in Surrey. I later moved into freelance dog and equine care, and more recently started my own business, K9 & Equine Services.

Alongside my lifelong love of dogs and horses, photography has always been another great passion of mine. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been happiest behind the camera rather than in front of it. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to photograph many amazing events, including weddings, Hickstead, Olympic bike rides, basketball matches, county shows and music festivals. But capturing the character, beauty and spirit of dogs and horses will always be my favourite subject to photograph.
